Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We wish to extend our warmest thanks to all the participants of the 1° Delta Cure Meeting and express our gratitude to the sponsors for making such a challenging meeting possible.

This meeting gave us the opportunity to share the newest scientific trends in HDV management, while being hosted in the vibrant city of Milan, the Italian expression of the European Union.

A total of 350 people including clinicians, researchers, students and top level experts attended the 2-days meeting with the aim of acquiring the latest knowledge on HDV treatment - 190 people joined us in-person and 160 more followed the event on-line. We also wish to thank all the authors of the 46 posters accepted and presented during the meeting.

We are sure that - forty-five years after the discovery of HDV by Mario Rizzetto - the Delta Cure Meeting shed new exciting lights on the management of this difficult-to-treat disease.
