THE CLOISTERS OF SAN BARNABA
Milan, Italy - Via Daverio, 7
www.ichiostri.net
One of the oldest places in Milan: located in the heart of the historic city center, behind the Court, in a 15th Century Convent with timeless cloisters and gardens, near the Sormani Library and very close to Piazza Duomo.
The main Hall - Salon of Frescos - built as a refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria della Pace in the second half of the 15th century, is characterized by a fresco that reproduces the theme of the Crucifixion, initially attributed to Marco D'Oggiono and more recently to Bernardino Ferrari. It was completely restored in 1995.
The Congress Venue is very well connected to the city centre, railway stations and airports:
By the underground
MM1 (Red) at San Babila stop
MM3 (Yellow) at Crocetta stop
By bus
Line 60, 70, 77, 84 at Vittoria stop
By tram
Line 12, 23, 27 at Vittoria stop.
